Mr. G. David Yarber was born in Marianna, Arkansas, Lee County. Immediately after graduating from Lee High School, he joined the United States Navy, and retired after a 20 of service to our nation.
Being a native of Arkansas, he started a non-profit in one of the hungriest and poorest states in the United States. David saw that more needed to be done.
His mission is to ensure the children in his community and the surrounding communities have the necessities to help them rise above poverty.
David is the President and C0-founder of The United Neighborhood Improvement Inc. , established in 2004. The personal mission is to improve the quality of life for people living in the Arkansas Southern Delta Region.

Tomica Ferguson
Secretary, UNITED Neighborhood Improvement
Tomica Ferguson is a dedicated community advocate with a background in administrative support and social services. Raised in Brinkley, Arkansas, she studied Administrative Assistance at Grayson County College in Denison, Texas. During her time there, she worked as a Residential Advisor at the Grayson County Shelter, gaining hands-on experience supporting individuals and families in need.
After spending several years in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tomica recently returned to Arkansas and settled in Forrest City. She now serves as Secretary for UNITED Neighborhood Improvement, where she continues her passion for helping others and improving the quality of life in underserved communities.
Dorimell is a pillar of our community. Her commitment to help others and to improved her surroundings was instilled in her at a young age by her late mother Ms. Clarnelle Hopkins of West Memphis, Arkansas
Dorimell is the owner of The Tax Clinic, Tax Preparation Service for over 10 years. She is also the Co-founder of United Neighborhood Improvement, Inc
She has created programs such as our children's afterschool feeding program and summer feeding program; collecting coats for the homeless, collecting toys for kids, fundraising and many community outreach events. Dorimell continues to search for solutions to community problems, just recently she quickly jumped into action by collecting badly needed drinking water for kids in the local area during a severe water outage.
Her contribution the U.N.I is invaluable.

Mrs. Gowder will be there to pass on a bit of kindness which is rewarding to her and the person she is helping. She realizes that a simple act of kindness can put a smile and a warm feeling in someone’s heart and improve their day.
She believes that doing something small for others is the beginning of something big. She finds ways to express her love to others, and she is committed to the cause of UNI. This is why she volunteers to help (UNI) United Neighborhood Improvement Inc. change the lives of families in Arkansas.

Kenneth Rucker is a devout Christian and enjoys sharing the goodness of Jesus Christ with all people, especially the surrounding communities. He has always had a passion for serving others.
He has been responsible for Community Fun Day in Madison, Arkansas, for almost eight years; Christmas Drives to make sure the children in the surrounding communities have food and toys for holidays. He also has had a helping hand in the community Easter Egg hunt for more than four years.
Mr. Rucker now serves on the board at (UNI) United Neighborhood Improvement Inc because he wants to make a difference in the lives of as many children as possible.
Tevin Williams studied at California State University, Fullerton, California, is a Recording Engineer at B & P Studios - BbgStudios, an Artist with UnitedMasters, and the owner of Doggone Dog restaurant in Marianna, Arkansas.
I could go on and on about his accolades, but most importantly, he has the heart to give back to his Community. He believes in Unity in the Community and strives to make a difference in the lives of children; Tevin does not sit on the sidelines and watch others; he is a man of action, and he believes in being a part of the solution.
He believes in bringing light to dark places. He believes that together we can make an enormous impact. He brings his love and entrepreneurial spirit to (UNI) United Neighborhood Improvement Inc. youths by teaching the children the ins and outs of music, from recording to publishing.
